The Manager’s Table

This has been the hardest pre season to date, the clubs fourth season was always strutctured to operate out of a facility, engage Qatari players and develop a youth program.
After the amazing season we had last it was also important we moved forward with the structure of the staff, we are delighted to have Ciaran Kelly, Karim Al Rayashi and Paul Horseman join our coaching staff. Ciaran is a UEFA A coach from Ireland with a huge passion for the game and the development of the youth plans we have. Paul is a UEFA B coach who has a wealth of experience and brings a sound dimension to the boys in the senior group. Karim has added a fantastic string to the clubs bow being Qatari the communication element is solid for all our Arabic players.

Transfers in this season are the biggest to date, we welcome 10 Qatari players, 2 Brazilian both ex pro as well as 2 of last years champions Al Waab players and two Young Scottish ex pros. Added to the current squad the pre season has been excellent and I hope to see us improving on last years runners up position.

A big mention to Doha Golf club and there team lead by Gary McGlinchey, he has taken our plans and supported all the vision by providing US WITH one of the best football facilities in town.

Myself and Stevie Gough will make sure the boys are ready to bring some silverware to the new facility which hopefully in 2018 will have a world class academy in operation supporting the senior team.
